tugas Bahasa Inggris Bisnis 2 (Passive Voice)

Passive Voice
Perhatikan kata kerja-kata kerja yang tercetak miring.
Beberapa kata kerja menggunakan bentuk Active Voice  seperti kata mencintai seseorang, memberi makanan, merobohkan, dan membangun, sedangkan kata kerja yang lainya seperti kata dicintai seseorang, diberi makanan, diculik dan dibangun menggunakan bentuk Passive Voice.

Jadi gampangnya begini, ketika kata kerja  sesudah subject itu bermakna me…

Simple! Berikut beberapa ketentuannya:
A.   Bila kamu mau ngomongkan hal-hal yang terjadinya ,tiap hari, tiap minggu, tiap bulan, tiap  tahun, selalu, seringkali, jarang atau bahkan cuma kadang-kadang dilakukan misalnya,
  1. Setiap pagi koran ini dikirim ke sini.
  2. Dia sering terlibat penyalah gunaan obat
  3. Pertemuannya diadakan tiap hari senin
  4. Tempat-tempat wisata disini selalu dikunjungi oleh banyak wisatawan asing.

Gunakan Pola :
Subject + am/ is/ are  + Verb -3    ( by… ).

Contoh :
-          The newspaper is sent here every morning.
-          She is involved in drug abuse.
-          The meeting is held every Monday
-          The resorts here are  always visited by a lot of  foreign visitors

gunakan pola :
Subject + am /is/ are + being + Ver-3  (by… )
Contoh :
  1. Laporanya sedang dicetak sekarang
The report is being printed now.
  1.  Mobil-mobilku sedang diperbaiki
My  cars are being repaired
The novel is being read by my sister so you can`t borrow it now.

C.    Untuk ngomongkan aktivitas yang “telah/sudah/ belum di…” gunakan pola;
Subject + has/have been+ Verb -3
misalnya,
  1. Uang sudah ditransfer ke rekeningmu
Money has been transferred into your account
  1. Formulir ini belum ditandatangani oleh kepala sekolah
This form has not been signed by the  headmaster
  1. Film itu telah diluncurkan sejak September lalu.
The film has been launched since last September

Gunakan saja pola :
Subject + was/ were + Verb -3     (by…)
-          Last night we were called by a stranger
-          Yesterday my bag was left at school
-          Unluckily my wallet was also stolen two days ago.

  2. Dia sedang diwawancarai saat kami datang

Gunakan Pola :
 Subject + was / were + being +Verb-3
  1. The accident happened when the goods were being unloaded
  2. She was being interviewed when we came

gunakan pola:
Subject + had been+ Verb-3
Jadi kalimat diatas diterjemahkan menjadi:
  1. All of her money at the bank had been withdrawn before she ran away to Singapore
  2. She felt well after the medicines had been taken twice a day.

G. Kalau ngomong
  1. ” akan di …                ” gunakan will be + Verb-3
  2. ” dapat di …              ” gunakan can be + Verb-3
  3. ” harus di …             ” gunakan must be + Verb-3
  4. ” mungkin di …     ” gunakan may be + Verb-3
  5. ” seharusnya di    “ gunakan should be + Verb-3
